Bio

Kris Gilbert is a multi-faceted musician with experience in many areas and genres of music. She has taught for 23+ years in a variety of levels and specialties. Kris is a highly sought-after clinician (presenting for international, national, state and regional conferences), guest conductor, accompanist, music director, composer, and technology trainer. She is a Google certified educator, Google trainer, certified Apple educator and Soundtrap educator. In addition, Kris the Lead Teacher Digital Ambassador for Little Kids Rock. She is an active member of the NYSSMA Technology Committee and served on the Ad-Hoc NYSSMA Best Practices Committee. Kris also serves as the Practicing Musician Technology Project Manager. Kris received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, her Masters in Music Composition from Binghamton University and her Certificate of Advanced Study in College Teaching from SUNY Potsdam.
