Bio

Kim Lundgren is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early/Middle Childhood Music, and Professional Learning Facilitator for NBCT candidates. In 2011 she received the Alfred Publishing Elementary Music Specialist Award presented by CMEA/California honoring excellence in elementary music education, and has presented at many music education conferences across the United States.  Most recently Kim was a 5th grade beginning band and string teacher for the award winning Poway Unified School District in the San Diego, CA area. She holds Music teaching credentials in California, Colorado, and New Mexico; and a Multiple-Subject credential in California. Now retired, she is a self published beginning band composer and works to support music educators everywhere.
