I have been teaching guitar professionally for over 15 years to all age ranges and skill levels. As an active performer in the Seattle area, I have worked as a studio musician for instructional books, instructional DVDs, as well as appearing as a studio sideman on the albums of local artists. I’ve recently performed with the band Theoretics and with local singer songwriter Alex Dunn.
Music education is important because it allow members of a community to lead richer, happier, and more compassionate lives. -Cameron Peace
I believe study in the arts is an essential component of a balanced education. Learning music can not only provide an unending wealth of intellectual challenges, but can also cultivate understanding in areas that are otherwise difficult to communicate. Furthermore, music can connect people across any and all boundaries and allow members of a community to lead richer, happier and more compassionate lives.
